Check-in Check-out

​​BOOKING A ROOM

  1. Go to our Book A Room page.

  2. Enter your desired dates.

  3. If you book after midnight, you are reserving a room for the same day, with a 3 p.m. check-in, not an immediate check-in. 

  4. Click the "Search" button to see available rooms.

  5. To secure your reservation, you'll need a valid credit. We accept major credit cards.

  6. Payment for the entire stay is required at the time of booking.

  7. Each room can accommodate a maximum of two people.

  8. Upon confirming your reservation, you'll receive a confirmation email with our address and the front door code.

  9. A few days before your arrival, we will send you detailed check-in instructions.

  10. If you don’t receive the check-in details, please text Suzanne at (818) 805-1545, and she’ll get them to you right away.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

  • We use a contactless entry system; you will receive a front door code when you book a room.

  • Check-in is available any time after 3 p.m. 

  • Check-out is any time before 11 a.m.
     

ROOM INFORMATION

We offer four rooms:

Each room features a comfortable mattress, high-quality linens, towels, complimentary toiletries, a local guide manual, and a secure locking system. Additionally, enjoy entertainment options on the smart TV, including popular streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, Roku Channel, Prime Video, and more.

CANCELLATIONS, CHANGES & REFUNDS

  • Cancel 21 days before check-in: Full refund.

  • Cancel 14 days before check-in: 50% refund.

  • No refund within 7 days of check-in.

  • No-shows will be charged for the entire reservation.
     

ADDRESS

  • Our property is situated near the intersection of Wilbur Ave and Ventura Blvd in Tarzana, CA.

  • For security reasons, our address is not listed on our website. We will provide you with the address after your reservation is confirmed.

PROPERTY INFORMATION

​Casa de Soul is a residential home converted into a boutique-style hotel. Suzanne, your host, lives on-site, ensuring your needs are met while respecting your privacy. We have a 30 lb Poodle mix named RiRi, who is kept away from shared spaces and on a leash.

PARKING

  • We offer a gated 3-car driveway available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  • Please ensure two other cars can fit when using the driveway.

  • Limit one car per room.

  • Ample street parking is also available.

 

​AMENITIES & SERVICES

As a guest, you'll enjoy access to our:

 

  • Kitchen to cook and store your food in a refrigerator and pantry. The kitchen is closed to cooking during quiet times. You can get food or drinks quietly during quiet times. 

  • Dining room, living room, outdoor sitting areas, and our sun-warmed swimming pool.

  • We provide coffee and tea for breakfast.

  • In your room, you’ll find a house manual that will answer questions you may have when you arrive.

  • The manual lists local attractions, restaurants, hiking trails, dog-friendly places, grocery stores, pharmacies, and emergency services.

Sun-Thu: 10 p.m. - 8 a.m.

Fri-Sat: Midnight - 9 a.m.

For the enjoyment and consideration of all guests, we request that noise levels be kept to a minimum during quiet times. By booking a room, you agree to our Terms & Conditions

​​​LAUNDRY

Guests Laundry Hours:
9 a.m. - 11 a.m.

Closed 11 - 3 p.m.

3 p.m. - 9 p.m.
 

  • $5 fee for washing and drying (includes supplies).

  • $10 per load for full laundry service (wash, dry, fold).

  • Payment options: Zelle, Venmo, or cash.

PETS

  • We accept one dog under 35 lbs. It must be housebroken and fixed. We charge a $50 pet fee per visit.

  • Please add this fee during check-out.

  • Unfortunately, we don't accept cats. We love kitties but are super allergic.

    PET POLICIES

  1. Leash: For the safety and comfort of all, please keep your dog on a leash when in shared areas of the house.

  2. Cleanliness: Please clean up after your pup. Use the provided waste bags and dispose of them in the large green bin in the front yard.

  3. Behavior: Dogs should be well-behaved and house-trained. Excessive barking or disruptive behavior might lead to additional charges or an early end to your stay.

  4. Supervision: Please don't leave your dog unattended on the property for extended periods.

  5. Furniture: To keep things nice for everyone, dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds.

  6. Damage: You will be charged for any damage caused by your dog. If your dog has an accident, please let us know right away.

GUEST POLICIES & RULES

  • Two guests maximum per room.

  • Only registered guests are allowed on the property unless previously agreed upon in advance.

  • No glass or ceramic dishes in the pool area, and no children under 16 can swim without adult supervision.

  • Kindness and consideration are essential. If you encounter any issues, please get in touch with us for assistance.

  • No smoking on the property.

  • Lastly, no drugs, excessive drinking, or noise. Guests who engage in such activities or cause any safety concerns may be asked to leave without a refund.

 

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

  • We offer contactless self-check-in.

  • Daily cleaning and disinfecting of high-touch surfaces with approved COVID-19 disinfectants.

  • We recommend that guests wear masks in the common shared areas if not fully vaccinated.

  • Deep cleaning, ventilation, and disinfection between reservations.

  • Hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes are available.
