Casa de Soul is probably the best hotel alternative in L.A. It's a B&B style setup in a West San Fernando Valley house with a pool. Suzanne does a great job of making one feel welcome. At prices far lower than any hotel or Airbnb, this is a must-consider for anyone looking for a great value in LA lodging.

Suzanne’s place is a tranquil oasis that you definitely don’t want to miss out on. The en suite room is great for your privacy to sleep and take a relaxing bath in the tub. The kitchen is clean and organized so you can have a home-cooked meal after a long
day of work.

Casa de Soul was just that for my husband and myself on our stay earlier this month. Our wonderful host Suzanne provided peaceful serenity. The house is beautifully laid out for privacy and convenience. We loved the pool area, the restaurants & shopping nearby, and the nearby access to the 101 to visit our daughter or sightsee.

We had a wonderful stay. Coffee options were plentiful and there was even fruit available to us courtesy of the host, Suzanne. We stayed in the Paris room. It was very comfortable and had a large en-suite bathroom. We will definitely be back!

Nice clean house with a great host! I would recommend staying here not only based on the location (very short access to great food, shops, sights and other places in the valley,
but also the value.

My room at Suzanne's was comfortable and clean and the price was great. I just needed a nice place to rest my head for the night. The bathroom was just outside our door and clean, shared with 1 other guest who had his own room. Good value and kind host.

The location was perfect for everywhere we wanted to go, and Suzanne even gave suggestions on where to eat and visit. Definitely a 10/10 stay.
